hi, I'm Katrina!

👋

I'm a UX Designer passionate about creating seamless experiences that simplify the complex. My philosophy as a designer revolves around empathy, collaboration, and storytelling. I believe user research is critical in building products people love.

work

Currently designing at BibleProject, creating experiences that help people understand, engage with, and delight in the Bible. Previously, I've gotten to work with awesome teams at PROS, Expero, Sovrn, and Tesla. I earned my UX Certification from NN/g and graduated magna cum laude from Rice University with a degree in Cognitive Sciences and Business.

When I'm not planning my next roadtrip (White Sands, here I come!), you can catch me trying my hand at a new recipe, challenging friends to Bananagrams, hiking the nearest mountain, listening to a BibleProject podcast, or making a feeble attempt to learn guitar. 😆

I have been super impressed by Katrina’s attention to detail and comprehensive prototype designs, her ability to lead effective and efficient user research sessions with customers from a broad spectrum of different industries, and her commitment to truly understanding our users and their needs. She has totally rocked it! It has been a true pleasure working with her.

Katrina demonstrated strong creativity, advocacy, and an effective data-driven mindset in completing a 12-week strategic analysis of a key area of the Intel ecosystem. The approach and model she developed will be leveraged for future analysis and her recommendations are being used as a component of our 5-year strategic plan. Katrina's ability to work independently, ask difficult questions, and build trust were key to her success at Intel.
Patrick Dorsey, VP Product Marketing (FPGA & Power Products) @ Intel

"Remarkably talented" is the phrase that comes to mind when I think about Katrina. She surpassed every single one of my expectations. Katrina took on every challenge gracefully, even if it meant learning something completely new. Not only does she have strong verbal and written communication, but she's also a highly skilled graphic designer. Katrina made a company-wide impact in just a few months. I'm confident she would thrive in any role given the opportunity to shine.
Hanna Judge, Senior Director of Marketing @ VigLink
