OVERVIEW

How can we encourage users to trust recommendations from an AI model? This was the question we sought to answer as we redesigned our AI price recommendation software. As PROS upgraded the tool’s underlying model to better handle predictions in volatile markets and unprecedented conditions (like a global pandemic 😭), we also wanted to refresh the UI for two key goals:

1. Better communicate how recommendations are calculated

2. Provide a UI that feels familiar, but has a modern look to showcase the ✨fresh✨ Science

OUTCOME

Called “beautiful” by Gartner and “amazing” by our VP of Product Management, our redesigned screens got a standing ovation 😱(?!) during our annual Sales Kickoff presentation. These screens are currently in development and we’re so excited to fully release them in Q2 2023! I was also recognized with an Employee Appreciation Award and featured in an Axure case study for my work on this project.
